There’s nowhere quite like the South Bank. By day, the crowds flock to be amazed and inspired by the Hayward Gallery, to thrill to the Imax cinema and browse for books beneath Waterloo Bridge. By night and the National Theatre reverberates to ecstatic applause as, outside, couples walk hand in dreamy hand along the moonlit river. You’re surrounded by old buildings, but in fact, this one is very new – and not only is its structure modern, but its interiors were renovated just a year ago. The family bathroom and ensuite are cleanly sophisticated, while you’ll find everything you need in the stylish kitchen. There are two bedrooms, a sunny twin, and the master double, where you can go to sleep gazing upon a wall of images from your hosts’ travels all around the world. Be it a concert at the Queen Elizabeth Hall or an hour watching the skateboarders rehearse their tricks, you’re surrounded by things to do both day and night. Walk down to Westminster and Big Ben, or follow the river the other way to Tate Modern and Borough Market. Cross Waterloo Bridge (pausing to enjoy one of the world’s finest views) to reach Covent Garden and the West End, or, take the tube. The journey from Waterloo to Oxford Circus lasts seven minutes.

- There are stairs up to the entrance of this home, and no elevator. This home doesn't have air conditioning. Between June and September, we'll place fans in each bedroom. Please let us know if you'd like fans outside the summer period. There is a single sofabed in the sitting room.
