3 Shellpit Cottages is a wonderful holiday home in a peaceful and scenic location, on the edge of Thorpeness in a conservation area of outstanding natural beauty. The cottage is situated half a mile down a sandy lane and is only a 10 minute walk to the beach through a lovely woodland with plenty of enticing footpaths to explore up and down the coast.

There's a large open plan and fully equipped living, dining and kitchen area, ideally furnished for a family holiday. The master bedroom comprises of a very comfortable king size bed with the second twin bedroom offering a cosy space to have the perfect nights sleep.

Summary: Having stayed in quite a few properties, this was worse than most. To improve the property I sound suggest (a) sign post it better, including parking (so you can find it and the residents stop moaning), explain the kids trampoline are not for use (details say they are) (c) crockery and cutlery were not clean - I think due to the fact the dishwasher does not release the tablet (d) the bathroom is terrible - update (e) remove some of the furniture so you can sit comfortably (f) and so much more... I wish I could find some nice things to say.
