Positive: Though the homestay has been through a lot (due to the typhoon in September), the host, Happy, is exceptional and we see why others have loved it so much here! She made us feel at home and did everything she could to make us feel comfortable and well-treated. We were also obsessed with her dogs, Min and Moon, and the other various wildlife around the property! The location is quiet and peaceful, the beds were super comfortable and clean, and toilet/showering facilities were grand. Happy also made us traditional family-style meals which were absolutely delicious, and basically made from scratch, with veggies picked straight from the garden! Happy also can organize tours -- our tour of the bay was AMAZING and a very good value, too. I think for backpackers, it's a perfect stay, and the value for money is really good. Thank you so much to Happy -- we loved spending these three days with you!
