Summary: Downtown Hotel Mexico, was fantastic. Great location in the hub of the city, a short walk to the main square & cathedral. The hotel is in a historic building, which has a lively vibe with 2 restaurants in its coutyard. For more of a relaxing atmosphere, head to the rooftop bar & pool, which have great views of the rooftops. Staff were extremely friendly & helpful, with the hotel in great condition, clean, given the age of the historic building. If you are after a quiet retreat, it may not be your cup of tea, but we loved it!!
