Positive: Beautiful location, Manor House is gorgeous and the grounds are lovely. I didn’t realise that we wouldn’t be staying in the house we were in the mews houses that were a walk away from the house

Negative: That we weren’t in the Manor House and that it is sold as a Champneys spa which it most definitely is not!!!! The spa is poor to say the least. No sauna, a tepid pool that occasionally had bubbles but way too much chlorine- my swimming costume was ruined and I had to throw it away and unhelpful and at times miserable staff.

Summary: Ok for a Manor House hotel if you get to stay in the house but don’t go here for a spa break you will be disappointed
