Summary: House is definitely dated. The listing pics are accurate and representative, though. It's definitely someone's grandmother's home...someone who lived there a LOT of years, and was a smoker. The home is "non-smoking" but it definitely HAS been smoked in...very likely in the distant past, but you just cant get that smell out of walls and fabrics, unfortunately. The host was very responsive, which I appreciated...and even offered to refund our money once I realized my allergies were triggered. We ended up staying b/c there weren't any acceptable options. The home is clean and very well kept.
