Positive: Hotel is directly on a private beach for hotel guests. It has a wonderful view of the Sanctuary of Truth as well and the sea was a beautiful turquoise, clean, and clear. The staff are amazing! 5/5 for friendliness and service! They make you feel very welcome and comfortable staying there as a mother travelling with her young son. Loved that there was a restaurant there which is open until 11:30 PM, but the selection was a little lacking (especially not much for children to eat) and food/drink prices were rather high. Buy 1 get 1 happy hour was a nice touch. Fire show on the beach most nights as well. Entertainment finishes around 8pm, so not too noisy either even when we stayed during Chinese New Year. Overall it was a wonderful vacation!

Negative: Needs a bit larger selection of both Thai and Western dishes. There is very little food on the menu that children can eat (no kids menu, some chicken nuggets/tenders and simple burgers would have made it easier for families). The food price is quite high, but it is delicious and fresh and very high quality. Drinks are also expensive, but appreciated the happy hour deals! No parking directly at the hotel, but they have staff and a golf cart ready to take you to the hotel parking garage just down the street. Its not too far ~200m and they help you with your baggage. You can also drop off your baggage first at the hotel if you'd like and they will take care of it while you park. There is very little soundproofing in the hotels and you can hear all the doors closing and even sinks running in the next room. Thankfully the staff and other guests were very respectful and courteous of others while we were there, so it wasn't too much of a bother other than the loud doors closing that would make you jump from bed. 😅 If they could adjust the menu just a bit to have more selection and a kids menu and do something about the soundproofing it would be absolutely amazing!
