Summary: My husband and I spent Christmas at this very nice ground floor apartment. Pros were no stairs to climb, the cons were there was no view. The patio is right next to a gate and walkway which is quite busy but not too much of a disturbance. There are 3 pools to choose from with hot tubs (which were very warm), depending on the time of day you could always find sun at one of the pools. Be prepared for a lot of walking if you don't have the use of a car (which we did not). The grocery store is a 30 minute walk from the condo. We took a taxi home from the grocery store and it was 1500.00 peso, a little on the high side. The closest Oxxo store is about a 20 minute walk, nothing closer to the golf course. Downtown is about a 40-45 minute walk or you can take the urbano bus on the main street to get you there, which we used a few times. There are lots of good restaurants to choose from there. We enjoyed the Art Walk on Thursday nights downtown. The walk to the beach is about 5 blocks from the condo, 3 to exit the golf course and 2 to the beach on the walkway. Our first trip to the beach, we didn't know that the walkway to the beach is between the Royal Solaris and Barcelo so we walked all the way to the north end of the hotel strip to the entrance there. These are all things that would have been nice to know about this location. All in all, we enjoyed our stay, but would probably book in a different location if we return.
