Positive: Just to stay in a Hilton Hotel for £40/night with a view over the river and breakfast was too good a deal to pass up. Meant a 30 min taxi ride out of town, but that was no biggie. Nothing much in the area other than a shopping mall (turn right out of hotel and walk for 15 mins) with loads of eating options as hotel didn't offer food other than breakfast.

Negative: Reception staff spoke no English (and I'm OK with this as I'm in their country and have no right to expect them to speak English), but one older receptionist just shrugged her shoulders and walked away. Another younger one tried with a translate app on her phone and we worked things out. The next day - exactly the same - the older lady just turned her back on me and the younger one was very helpful and friendly.

Summary: A night in a Hilton for £40 - has to be done!
