Positive: We had a wonderful stay at Ha Giang Historic House, which was the perfect starting point for our Ha Giang Loop. The room was simple but very nice, and the whole property has a beautiful, peaceful atmosphere surrounded by nature and a lovely garden. The pool was a real highlight and a perfect place to relax. The location is excellent: close enough to reach the centre of Ha Giang quickly, while being wonderfully quiet at night. Most of all, we really appreciated the incredible hospitality. The host and her whole family were exceptionally kind, welcoming and helpful. She was always available via WhatsApp and took care of everything, from arranging transport to helping us organise our motorbike for the Ha Giang Loop. Everything was very uncomplicated and flexible. What made the stay especially memorable was how accommodating she was even outside our actual stay. We were able to leave our luggage safely at the property while doing the Loop and, when we returned, we could use the bathroom and even take a shower while waiting for our sleeper bus. This was incredibly helpful after coming back from the Loop and made the whole journey much more comfortable. We could also settle the accommodation and motorbike after returning from the Loop, which made everything very convenient. She even offered to prepare pizza for us, which was a lovely personal touch. On the night we left, she stayed awake until our bus arrived to pick us up. This level of care genuinely made us feel welcome and looked after. It felt much more personal than a normal hotel stay, and we would happily stay here again. A warm recommendation for anyone visiting Ha Giang.

Negative: There is honestly very little to complain about. The room and facilities are fairly simple, so this is not a luxury accommodation, and the price is a little higher compared to some other places in Ha Giang. The motorbike we rented for the Loop was also a little older, although it was perfectly fine for our needs and the convenience of arranging everything directly through the host more than made up for it. Overall, these are very minor points compared to the wonderful hospitality and the relaxed, personal atmosphere of the place.
