Summary: If I had known what I was getting into - this would have been a nice place to stay... but I didn't. I had hoped for a relaxing stay but the hotel is on the flight pattern for the airport so planes landing every 15 minutes or so from 6:15 am to 10 pm... and then there was the loud dueling bars close by that play live music until 3 am. All that would have been fine but because this was the worst place for a relaxing solo stay, when I told the team at the hotel about the problem, they refused to help me in any way. So sorry you booked for 12 days - too bad, so sad. Nothing but blank looks and mean nasty notes from the staff behind the scenes. It was so bad I left for several days and paid for accomodations elsewhere. Hotels.com felt bad and gave me some subsidy which I sincerely appreciated. So all said, nice place if you know what you are buying into. Terrible for the person looking for a calm quiet vacation. (and now I know better that this part of Koh Samui isn't calm nor quiet).
