Travel Purpose: business

Positive: The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Using translations apps was not a problem and assisted in communicating with the staff. The hotel and rooms are beautifully designed in the ancient style of Lijiang buildings. It’s an oasis and the afternoon tea/coffee and snack offered in the open air cafe adds a nice quiet moment after a day of sightseeing. The location is excellent. You will be within the old city yet on the edge away from the crowds.

Negative: We were there during winter when the temperature is cooler. The breakfast room should accommodate all seasons since it was a bit cold in the breakfast room. It would be better to have heat or have doors to enclose the room. Excellent coffee and tea selection. Breakfast selection could be more varied.

Summary: We have fond memories of our stay and are happy we found a nice boutique hotel and helpful staff.
