Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Wonderful property with superb owner. Great food (my wife had lemon grass chicken for dinner 3 nights in a row it was that good!) Relaxing pool area. Nice rooms, we were on the top floor overlooking the pool.

Negative: Beaches were super littered and sea was rough, murky and not very appealing. May have been time of year (January). Phan Thiet is a very "strange" place with lots of what appear to be empty properties and lacking in soul. Other than the Orchid Beach Boutique Hotel, I would not return to Phan Thiet again.

Summary: Great couple of days relaxing at the hotel pool. Not much of interest in the immediate environment
