Positive: We stayed in three different hotels on the island Koh Kood, this review is based on comparison. Siam Beach Resort is located in the Bang Bao area, and the bay itself is a big advantage — calm water, sheltered from the wind, and just generally beautiful. The resort is spread out over a large area and looks like one of the older, more established hotels in Bang Bao. We stayed in one of the newest rooms near the end of the bay. Our beachfront room had a high ceiling and a nice, spacious feel. The beach in front of the resort is long, so there’s plenty of space to walk and relax. It was spotlessly clean. The restaurant was okay — not amazing, but the location was great and the food was decent. Staff were friendly and helpful. Since the hotel is big and the rooms were built at different times, they don’t all look the same. The good thing is that the room photos on their website are accurate, so you know what you’re getting. The beachfront rooms were definitely the best. Thanks for the stay.
