Located in a peaceful spot, down a little lane in the small fishing village of Craster, just behind Robson's smokery, a traditional fish smokehouse known for their legendary ‘Craster Kippers’. A short walk away, you will find the harbour as well as a cafe, local pub and even an art gallery. From the front door of the cottage there are many interesting walking routes, head down to the seafront and ramble along the rocky shoreline, head north and discover the ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle or if you go south instead you’ll soon reach Howick, with its Hall with landscaped gardens and a tearoom, the former home of Early Grey, hence the name of the tea!
When you arrive at the cottage, you are greeted by an 18th Century stone archway and a private suntrap patio garden to the rear. Inside, the cottage oozes coastal chic, bright white painted beams and walls, peaceful blue and grey furnishings, and white wash floorboards upstairs. The open plan ground floor allows light through with bespoke stained glass windows, and through the skylights upstairs in the master bedroom you can see Dunstanburgh Castle and the sea in the distance.
