The bustling seaside town of Tywyn lies to the south (9 miles), home to the Talyllyn Railway and the Tywyn Magic Lantern Cinema. A little further along the coast is Aberdyfi (12.5 miles), a popular spot for water sports and golf, with a host of great restaurants, shops and galleries.
