3 Bedroom House in Hammersmith Broadway, London
We live in pretty Brackenbury village, with a cafe, butcher and corner shop at the end of the road, the park just 5 minutes away and the river 10 minutes. It has a genuinely villagey feel, but takes no time to get in to the centre of town, on one of the 4 tube lines and one overland that are in walking distance of our house. We've been here for 10 years and couldn't imagine living anywhere else! That its also 20 mins cab from Heathrow and 15 from the Westfield shopping centre is an added bonus!
Our house is techincally a 4 bedroom, but we have the larger bedroom as an upstairs sitting room on the first floor. A floorplan is included in the photo's to give you a full sense of the living space. We have a spare single mattress that guests often use to sleep in this room. Bedrooms 2 and 3 have two singles, that can attach to make king size beds. So these can be made up as best suits you (or kept as singles, as the second single slots under the first!)
Should you have children, we have a highchair and there is a travel cot.
The area:
We have two incredible local pubs, one at the end of the road the Andover Arms (at one point the highest rated restaurant in London on Trip advisor!) and the Anglesea Arms 4 minutes away, this is my personal favourite. There is nothing nicer than a cosy Sunday lunch here. A wonderful local butcher and good local corner shops. The park and river close by and for more shopping the Westfield. There isn't really too much need to venture into town!
Getting around:
Our house is 10 minutes walk from Ravenscourt Park Underground Station, 7 minutes walk from Goldhawk Road Station, 10 minutes from Hammersmith Underground Station and 15 minutes walk from Shepherd’s Bush Underground Station and Mainline Station.
There are also numerous buses. If you want to get a taxi, you can find a black cab on any of the main roads or we use Olympia Cars. Halo or Uber are good apps to download for taxis too. It’s just ten minutes by car to Notting hill and 25 to Heathrow - traffic allowing!
