Positive: The courtyard style house fit perfectly with the neigbourhood and the rooms were spacious with an attached living room area and tea sets as tea drinking is a big deal in Shantou. The area is slightly out of the way but this means u enjoy peace and quiet. Host was very friendly and all his food reccommendations are siperb. He even offered us logons from the trees growing in thw courtyard!

Negative: As it is mostly glass roofs, thus can be quite warm in the summer. Recommend to visit Shantou in Spring or Autumn!

Summary: Lovely and quaint courtyard house with friendly hosts!
