Positive: Looks nice , but some updates required.

Negative: Good location, but major room & service issues (balcony privacy = zero) I stayed 2 nights at Alpin Resort in Poiana Brașov. The location is good, but overall it was disappointing and I’d rate it 2–3/5. Bathroom: The shower floor is very slippery and water leaks out next to the glass, flooding the whole bathroom (poor sealing/construction). The heater makes a loud noise at night — we had to turn it off to be able to sleep. Balcony (biggest issue): There is no privacy at all. On both left and right sides there’s open space where neighbors can walk by, and it’s not visually separated, so you end up seeing everyone on the floor and they can see you (especially at night with windows/curtains open). Also the balcony door didn’t lock properly (broken lock), which felt unsafe. I’m attaching photos. Housekeeping/towels: After asking housekeeping to come the next day, later reception refused to give us 2 clean towels in the evening and said only housekeeping can provide them “tomorrow”, which is not acceptable when towels are soaked due to bathroom flooding. Valet parking: “Included valet” was poorly organized — no one was there on arrival, I waited in the check-in line just to hear “we’ll call him”, then after waiting outside in snow I was basically told to park myself in tight, unsafe snowy spots behind the hotel, while many closer spots were blocked with “no parking” signs. Not the level I expected for this hotel
