Summary: The bad: We waited 40 minutes for check in, in a lobby that felt like 100 degrees, because several groups in front of us had check in problems. You have to wear a bracelet for your full visit. The restaurants on site seemed closed or only had super random, short hours. There's a jacuzzi but you can use it only if you're a member of some club. There's space for a kid's club, but it was closed all 4 days we were there. The room smelled like mildew. The hotel had a scheduled power outage for 1/2 a day on our last day (of course we were only told the night before), including elevators, forcing us to check out at 7:30am instead of 12pm since we were on the 7th floor. The hotel seemed a bit run down and lacking amenities, especially for the price. The pool was like a warm jacuzzi, seeming to be heated despite the 95 degree weather. The beach at this spot can be 0-20' deep, so there's not much of a place to hang out, but that also means fewer vendors and beach umbrellas, which is actually kind of nice. The good: Good location on the beach, nice balconies, and a 10 minute walk to the grocery store. The room (oceanfront suite) was spacious, the AC worked well, and the beds were fairly comfortable. Summary: Overpriced, older hotel with spacious suites and lacking amenities.
