Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Great resort/hotel next to Changbai mountain. The hotel provides a shuttle to the Chanbaishan high-speed train station. Visit to Tianchi lake are possible whenever weather allows it, the hotel is very close to the entrance and has a shuttle to drop you off /pick you up at the entrance. The whole return trip can be done in 3 hours. 2 restaurants. Hot spring inside the hotel are a nice plus.

Negative: The hotel is more a resort next to the mountain. There are limited to no option to eat outside close to it so expect to dine in or travel some distance. There are some outdoor activities in the hotel including a petting zoo with many deers as well as some rabbits and dogs. Some people might feel that animals would be better in the nature than in the enclosed space.
