Positive: This property was the perfect introduction into Chinese hospitality, the interiors were simple yet very much thought of. The guest services went above and beyond, they were kind enough to always hold an umbrella when it rained. The room was spacious and comfortable, always forced me to enter into a zen mode. In it was a tote bag packed with light travel essentials such as wet wipes, bottles of water and nail clippers. Before departure, they had a little souvenir prepared alongside a packed breakfast for the road trip. I really liked the fact that they remembered my coffee choice and had that ready.

Negative: Unfortunately they didn’t have a spa but I get it, the hotel is more on the boutique side.

Summary: Memorable stay, authentic and i would definitely recommend it for explorers that appreciate understated luxury.
