Positive: Lovely oasis of calm but in easy reach (15-10 minute walk) of the centre of Luang Prabang. Lovely traditional styled room with a view of the lush gardens and the river. Nice pool area. Veranda restaurant with views of the river was lovely for all meals. Menu options were very reasonably priced and good. Breakfast was good and my flat white coffees every morning were excellent. We experienced a very warm welcome and all of the staff were friendly, attentive and well trained. The staff were very smart/elegant in their attire. Nothing was too much trouble. We loved the musician playing traditional music early evening which made for a calm and serene atmosphere. We also very much appreciated the transfer to the train station at the end of our trip. Overall, we loved our time here and were made to feel like part of the family. We were very impressed by the professionalism and level of hospitality provided by Anou Sack. The entire team was superb and I cannot mention everyone’s name but Mr Sonnelith and Mr See were exceptionally helpful. (Applogies of if I have not spelt the names correctly!)

Negative: Quality of wine by the glass could be improved. I know it is difficult if not too many guests order wine but I personally could not drink what was on offer. (Wine menu by the bottle did have a reasonable amount of choice).
