Positive: Your Red Earth Homestay – Pure Peace in Krabi If you’re looking to truly disconnect from the noise of the world, and enjoy a relaxed 420 friendly environment, Your Red Earth Homestay is something special. Completely isolated and surrounded by nature, this place is the definition of peaceful. No traffic, no crowds, just gum trees, open land, and the occasional airplane passing far off in the distance. The property itself was once a pineapple field, and you can still feel that wide, open, grounded energy everywhere you look. Getting there is easy despite the seclusion. Bolt or Grab, Thailand’s version of Uber, can take you straight to the homestay. From downtown Krabi, the ride cost about 400 baht, which feels more than worth it once you arrive. Food is simple, affordable, and excellent. All meals are 150 baht, with a clear picture menu to choose from. The duck eggs deserve a special mention, absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly. The hosts make this place unforgettable. Sala, the host, is deeply spiritual, incredibly kind, and genuinely happy to talk about Thai culture, temples, spirituality, and even local legends like the Nagas. I found these conversations unexpectedly insightful and meaningful, far beyond the usual host guest experience. Amazing American breakfast, though local breakfast options are also available if you want to keep it traditional. Cleanliness and comfort are next level. Out of all the places we stayed in Thailand, this was hands down the cleanest and most peaceful. The room had strong, reliable Wi Fi, excellent water pressure with hot showers, a brand new powerful air conditioner, and a large high quality TV with Netflix and YouTube, which is rare for most homestays. For anyone who works remotely or just wants comfort after exploring, this really matters.
